Bethlehem Fuel Bank

The Caring for Bethlehem Assistance Team processes Bethlehem Fuel Bank Eligibility Forms during appointments in September and October while residents apply for the Connecticut Energy Assistance Program with a Bethlehem Social Services at Bethlehem Town Hall. Qualified residents may then simply call (203) 275-9827 for Fuel Assistance when they have exhausted state awards.

Applications may be filed at other times at Bethlehem Town Hall or at the Bethlehem Food Bank.

Assistance from the Bethlehem Fuel Bank is not intended to be on-going or routine in manner.

Requests for fuel assistance must be made prior to delivery. Payments are made directly to the fuel provider. The Bethlehem Fuel Bank does NOT reimburse for fuel previously purchased.

Caring for Bethlehem, Inc. is an all-volunteer non-profit 501(c)(3) tax-exempt public charity organization dedicated to creating an umbrella of support for those in need in Bethlehem, Connecticut. 

Caring for Bethlehem, Inc. provides assistance for local individuals and families regardless of race, religion, color, ethnicity, national origin, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, ancestry, citizenship, veteran or disability status, or of any other class protected by applicable federal, state, or local law. 

Bethlehem residents who meet the financial guidelines established by the Connecticut Energy Assistance Program (CEAP) may be eligible to receive fuel assistance from the Bethlehem Fuel Bank. Other requests for fuel assistance are handled on an individual basis.
