This will be a 2.5 day workshop from Thursday morning (June 13) to Saturday noon (June 15). Most of the time will be reserved for discussions, with a half day of introductory talks on Thursday morning and six invited talks to set the stage for discussions. In the application below, please provide information on your interest in participating. We hope to be able to select a balanced representation of career stage and scientific interests. There will be no ability to present or attend remotely.
Application are currenly open and will remain open until the workshop reaches capacity. First notifications of acceptance to the workshop will be sent out starting April 22.
Note that this workshop overlaps one day (Thurs, June 13) with the summer AAS meeting in Madison, which is about a 90 minute drive from Yerkes. If you are interested in also participating in the AAS meeting, abstracts for that meeting are due Mar 12, 2024. (Late abstracts will be accepted between March 14 and March 28.) Registration will open on April 22, 2024, after the notification regarding acceptance to the workshop. The conference venue holds up to 45 participants.
A workshop registration fee of $80 will be charged for the meeting. This fee covers meeting facilities, coffee breaks, and (possibly) lunches. Participants are responsible for arranging and paying for lodging, transportation, and dinners.
