Schloss Ringberg
Schloss Ringberg is a castle in the foothills of the Bavarian Alps, used by the Max Planck Society for conferences and meetings. Surrounded by nature, the castle is an ideal location for scientific exchange and discussions.
Accommodations
Accommodations will be provided on-site at the castle. Room and board (including breakfast, lunch and dinner at the castle) are included in the conference fee of 473.91€ (or a reduced fee of 417€ for Max Planck Society employees), which can be paid on site using cash or major credit cards.

Getting to Schloss Ringberg
Plane
From Munich International Airport (MUC), take public transport (either S-Bahn line S1 or S8) to Munich Central Station. From there, take a train to Tegernsee Station (see "Train" directions below).
Train
Ringberg is located a short drive from the "Tegernsee" train station. There are regular trains from Munich Central Station to Tegernsee approximately every 30-60 minutes (travel time: approximately 1 hour). For timetables and tickets, see either the Bayerische Oberlandbahn (BOB) or the Deutsche Bahn. From the Tegernsee station, the Ringberg Castle can be reached by taxi (e.g., Taxi Jasinski: +49 8022 95099).
Automobile
Ringberg Castle is reachable by car, and there is parking available on site.
