Device Lease Program
From 2026, Kolbe introduced school 'Lease to Own' program for Year 10 students. This roll out will continue to Year 11 and 12 over the next two years.
Our aim:
To be able to support students and their learning on a school managed device
Give support of fleet buying for students and parents
Allow students to start Year 10 with a device that best suits their learning.
Apple ID's
Apple ID's
Students will be required to be using their CEWA federated Apple ID. This allows teachers to use App's like Apple Classwork and Classroom to assign assessments and keep learning focused. Personal Apple ID will not be permitted on the devices.
Why support this?
The device lease program for senior school is a continuation of our Year 7 - 9 lease program. The school device is a learning device (not a gaming or social media device). Under MDM, Kolbe is able to distribute apps and settings to each student, and limit distractions.
We have a unified management framework in place and we trust that every student and parent is prepared to support us with its implementation.
