The respiratory system it use it to get nutrients of the air, and that nutrients pass to the blood.
Parts of the Respiratory System.
1.Mouth and Nose: Air entre to the body through the mouth and nose.
2.Trachea: This are a long, rigid tube conected to our mouth, nose and two bronchi. Air travel down the trachea and into the bronchi.
3.Lungs: This are two lrge bags, that are conected to the bronchi.
4.Bronchi: This are smaller tubes that are conected to the trachea and the lungs.
5.Bronchioles: These are small tubes inside the lungs. They have tiny sacs at the end called alveoli. The air goes to the alveoli and and then pass into the blood vessels.
6.Diaphragm: These is a dome-shaped muscle found the lungs. It contracts to pull air into our lungs; and relaxes to allow us expel waste gases.

Breathing
Our muscles and organs absorb the oxyge to carry out the function of nutrition. The oxygen goes to the blood and then to the mucles.
Our muscles absorb oxygen and expel carbon dioxide. There is an exchange of carbon dioxide for oxygen between the blood and the alveoli. then we expel this gas when we brathe out.
