In 7th grade, students begin their journey in French language acquisition. This is a High School level French 1 class, taken over the course of two years in Middle School (grades 7 & 8). This two year program will allow students to dive deeper into language acquisition, to play more with the language, and to have a better sense of what they are learning. Those students who meet the standard at the end of their 7th grade year will move on to take French 1b as 8th graders. 7th Grade French classes will meet 4 days each week over the course of the year. Additional virtual engagement opportunities will be offered on Wednesdays.
