Professional Learning Opportunities for Connecticut Educators

With the sponsorship of the Connecticut State Department of Education, the Connecticut RESC Alliance collaborated to create a series of module-based professional learning courses about blended learning. Each course will begin and end with synchronous sessions and include one or two asynchronous modules as well. We encourage you to begin with the "Intro to Blended Learning" course, particularly if this pedagogy is new to you. Each of the subsequent courses explores an individual model of blended learning instruction so you can explore the model that will work best for your school or classroom.

In addition to the courses designed with classroom teachers in mind, there is a course similarly designed for district and school leaders who are working to implement a district- or school-wide blended learning culture.

All courses are generously underwritten by the CSDE and, therefore, are FREE to Connecticut educators. Visit the CSDE CT learning hub to access their curated tools and professional development resources, and on the "About the RESC Alliance" page you can learn more about your local RESC and contact that agency for additional professional development opportunities and coaching.

Click on the different courses below to see a description of the course modules and register to attend the synchronous sessions. NOTE: all live sessions will be recorded for anyone not able to attend at the scheduled time.
