Course Completion

When students who are entering grade ten in September finish their first course - INF 1030 - they should contact Dr. Baragar to request the registration form for grade nines. Grade nine students will select their remaining five courses AFTER they have finished INF 1030.

Dr. Baragar will grade work routinely over the duration of Jumpstart, and she will notify students in Google Classroom of the dates that she will be doing "Mass Grading." She calls it that because there are hundreds of students participating in this program, and it takes many hours to go through every task that is for marks for every course.  This information will be readily available to students so that they can prioritize completing a course if they know a grading session is imminent.

When a course has been successfully completed, Dr. Baragar will deploy a certificate of completion for the course. When students have collected six certificates, they have completed the requirements to earn a Chromebook. Upon completion of all six, a seventh certificate will be deployed acknowledging the success of the student.
