Jeux Francophones de l'Alberta / Alberta Francophone Games
The Jeux francophones de l’Alberta (JFA) is a large, province-wide weekend event held since 1993 for Francophone and Francophile students in grades 7-12. Organized by the FSFA, it offers opportunities to showcase talents in various sports and artistic disciplines, celebrate French culture, and connect with other young people. The event includes opening and closing ceremonies and a social event, with registration covering transportation, food, and lodging. The JFA takes place every year in May. These Games are a great introduction to the Jeux de la Francophonie Canadienne (Canadian Francophone Games) held every 3 years.
Destination Clic enables youth grades 8-10 to travel and immerse themselves in francophone culture. Do you know a young person ready to learn, discover, and grow and meet new francophone friends from across Canada? OLP-PLO’s Destination Clic can help them take their confidence to a whole new level and connect them to their francophone roots.
Destination Clic is an experiential summer program for francophone students living outside Quebec. The program is aimed at nurturing their sense of belonging and identity with the francophone community and enhancing their French-speaking skills.
