Wisconsin Academic Decathlon (WIAD) is a non-profit organization. Participation is voluntary, under approved application. Acknowledgment by WIAD of your team registration form generates an invoice that is sent to your school and a commitment to pay the entry fee(s). It is expected that your team will also accept the opportunity to advance to the next level of competition when the team score warrants it and that the applicable fees (for Regional and State Competitions, potentially) will then also be paid.  

Local Competition will be held Tuesday, November 4, 2025. The registration deadline is October 13, 2025.

The non-refundable Local Test Fee is $434 per 9-member team if registration is completed/received by October 13, 2025. After October 13, the entry fee is $484.  Late team registrations will NOT be accepted after October 20, 2025.

You may register more than one team to compete at Local Competition, but only one team per school may advance to Regional Competition. After the first team is registered, the Local Competition entry fee is progressively reduced by $50 for each additional complete team. Division cutoffs are determined upon enrollment of all registered teams.  

Registration of any alternate teams (incomplete teams of 1-2 or 3-5 members) must be done using the Alternate Team Registration Form (a different form from this one) and can only happen once at least one full/complete team has been registered.

When you submit this form it will send you a copy to share with your business office.  If a purchase order is required, please indicate the PO# in the form. Credit card payments are also accepted; please email Kelsi Zeitler (kzeitler@cesa7.org) to make those arrangements.
