I was born and raised in Western Pennsylvania and graduated from West Allegheny School District (1996), Westminster College (2000) with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, and a Masters of Education in Curriculum from Penn State (2006). I began my teaching career in North Carolina in 2000-2001, but soon returned to Pennsylvania and taught at OLSH for the 2001-2002 school year, and finally found my home at Center Area High School and Central Valley High School and have been teaching here since 2002.
Along with teaching a variety of courses at CVHS, I am currently the Science Department Chair and the Student Council Sponsor.
The Central Valley School District utilizes PowerSchool for Parents and Students to access all attendance, assignments, and grades.
If you have never logged into PowerSchool before you will need to create an account, in August you received a letter containing your Access ID and Access Password which is required for creating an account. If you do not have the letter, please contact the building office for the information.
Once you have the Access ID and Password, this help page will assist you in creating an account.
If you have an account but do not remember the password you can click the "Forgot Username or Password" link on the login page. If you no longer have access to the email address you used to create your account, you will need to contact the building office to have it reset.
