The Show
The Show
Our spring musical is chosen after auditions. Our directing team chooses the show that best fits the talents, size, and demographic of our cast. The show and the cast list will be announced after the auditions in the fall.
Auditions
Auditions for the spring musical are held in the first weekend of November. Auditions are in person in the High School Auditorium. There is an informational meeting for interested students in October during study hall. The meeting date is advertised on CVTV, flyers in the hallway, and sent directly to all students via email. Rehearsals
All rehearsal schedules will be posted at least two weeks ahead in Google Classroom.
Students in the ensemble will rehearse throughout January and February after school and in the evenings. Students in the ensemble typically rehearse 2-3 times per week and every day during the week of the show.
Lead/Supporting Roles
A leading role is a big responsibility and is therefore more of a time commitment. Students with lead roles may begin rehearsals in late December and will rehearse after school and in the evenings through the end of February. Students with lead roles typically rehearse 3-5 days a week, gradually increasing to every day during the week of the show.
