Spelling Words

Vocabulary Words
Arranged: organized specifically
Backwater: a peaceful body of water near a river with almost no current or movement
Disguise: a costume that hides who you are
Enthusiastically: in an excited way
Escorted: led or accompanied
Forage: to search or look around
Glittering: sparkling
Meandered: to move slowly or without purpose
Mended: fixed, repaired, or patched up
Occupant: a person or thing that lives in a particular place
Postpone: to put off or reschedule for a different time
Recklessly: carelessly, not concerned about the consequences or results of an action
Remarkable: something that is unusual or should be noticed
Slumber: sleep
Startled: scared or surprised, often moving suddenly as a reaction
Subtle: faint, delicate, or slight
Summoned: signaled, beckoned, or called
Whisk: to move quickly and suddenly
