Students of the Central Valley School District in grades 9-12 will be required to earn a minimum of 28 credits in the following areas, along with completing a Graduation Project and achieving at the the proficiency level or above on State required tests or District local alternative assessments.
4 Credits - English and Language Arts
4 Credits - Social Studies
3 Credits - Physical Education and Health
1 Credit - Public Speaking
1 Credit - Software Applications (Class of 2026-2028) OR Financial Literacy (Starting with Class of 2029)
Total of 28.0 Credits needed to graduate.
*All credits must be earned in the district. Dual enrollment credit will not count towards QPA or graduation.
