Curriculum

English Language Arts:

*We use Amplify CKLA Curriculum.  

*The students will have paper Reading Books and workbooks at school.

*Any homework will be on Showbie in the "Homework" folder or papers will come home in the "Take-Home" folder.

*There is no "Spelling" until the second unit.  After that, any Spelling lists will be sent home, and will be found in the "Spelling" folder on Showbie.  Any homework will be in the Showbie "Homework" folder.

*Grammar will be included throughout the Units and will be included on the tests.

Math:

*We use Eureka.

*We will use personal whiteboards and some paper in school. We will also do work in the "Math" folder in Showbie.

*Any homework will be on Showbie in the "Homework" folder.  Most of the time there will also be a lesson video link in the Showbie "Homework" folder also.  Parents and students can watch it to review or learn the lesson for the day.

Science:

*We use a variety of curriculum materials.  

*We have Science class during the first and third nine weeks.

*There will rarely be Science homework.  If there is, it will likely be studying for tests or graded assignments.

*Social Studies:

*We use HMH curriculum.

*Students will go to Mrs. Hall for Social Studies in the second and fourth nine weeks.

*They will have magazines for the Units.  Most of it will be classwork.  If there is any homework, it will be listed on my homework board.
