V. Student Preparation
Standard
A comprehensive process to prepare students for career transition is in place. Students are given co-curricular and extra-curricular opportunities that support career goals. Students are supported and recognized by staff.
Career Awareness and Employability
Implementing the Fresno County Sheriffs Explorers into my Criminology program. It allows students to enhance what they have learned in the classroom with real life skills. Which will then give them the hands on experience and expectations of law enforcement. This also allows one to transition into the Fresno State 108 reserve program. Once completed they will graduate with their bachelors and hired with the Fresno Sheriff department.
