Opportunities for Winter 2023-24 for snow lovers to come and work in the heart of the Japanese Alps with a well established rental and retail company.
Central Snowsports Hakuba is an Australian owned and operated snow sports rental and retail company located in the Hakuba Valley. With 15 years of experience in Hakuba and three stores, we offer the full range of products for international guests from around the world.
Brands include K2, Jones, Black Crows, Volkl, 32, Head, Bonfire, Oakley, Smith, BCA and many more. We offer rental products for beginners, through to outfitting back country groups.

Guest Services
RENTAL DUTIES
Fitting and servicing customers with all their hire requirements.
Rental products include, boots, skis, snowboards, helmets, clothing, toboggans.
SkiTeching and Boot Fitting.
RETAIL DUTIES
Retail sales, mainly consisting of accessories. Gloves, goggles, beanies.
CUSTOMER SERVICE
General customer information about dinning, skiing and getting around Hakuba.
Help with equipment changes, boot fitting issues.
COMPUTER & CASH DESK DUTIES
EasyRent software for POS and customer management, Card and Cash payments
GENERAL STORE DUTIES
Stock-takes, Stock replenishment, Cleaning, etc.
SHUTTLE DRIVERS
Pick up / Deliver guests staying in around the Hakuba Valley.
Confidently drive snow vehicles.
PICK UP DRIVERS
Drive around in the evenings collecting equipment for return from all different accommodation around the Hakuba Valley,
Confidently drive snow vehicles.
Work alone and often late.
WORKSHOP DUTIES
Waxing, repairs, ski & snowboard tuning.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly driven individual to join our team.
We are always wanting to exceed our customers expectations in giving exceptional guest service. Customer service or retail experience would be a great asset but not essential for applications. Being polite, friendly, engaging and having a positive attitude is a necessity.
Potential employees should want to experience a season working in the Snow, with changing weather conditions and work loads. Also being aware of expenses and the small village living environment that makes the experience so unique. Being adaptable would be a great attribute.
