Position: Rental & Retail Shop Assistant

RENTAL

Fitting and servicing customers with all their hire requirements. 

Rental products include, boots, skis, snowboards, helmets, clothing, toboggans. 

RETAIL

Retail sales, mainly consisting of accessories. Gloves, goggles, beanies.

CUSTOMER SERVICE

Knowledge of the Falls Creek Village and how to get around, the equipment provided, eateries, beginner tips, all things to help the guest enjoy their holiday and progress and enjoy.

COMPUTER & CASH DESK DUTIES

EasyRent software for POS and customer management, Card and Cash payments, End of day balancing 

GENERAL STORE DUTIES

Stock-takes, Stock replenishment, Cleaning, Laundry etc.

OTHER

Other duties may include pickups and deliveries which would require the ability to drive snow vehicles. You will need a drivers licence.  You may be required to work at any location during the day. All locations are within walking distance.

We are looking for  an enthusiastic, highly driven individual to join our team. 

We are always wanting to exceed our customers expectations in giving exceptional guest service. Customer service or retail experience would be a great asset but not essential for applications. Being polite, friendly, engaging and having a positive attitude is a necessity.

Potential employees should want to experience a season working in the Snow, with changing weather conditions and work loads.  Also being aware of expenses and the small village living environment that makes the experience so unique. Being adaptable would be a great attribute.

Remuneration

Remuneration is based on the current General Retail Industry Award [MA000004] casual rate.

Adult Retail level 1 (base rate before casual loading)  $24.73

Adult Retail level 2 (base rate before casual loading)  $25.29

(20yr 90% | 19yrs 80% | 18yrs 70% | 17yrs 60% | 16yrs 50%)

Casual Rate 

Hours will be based on demand and varies throughout the season. You will be required to work the hours you are assigned on the roster.

You will receive at least 1 full day off each week. You will also receive half days off. Hours are assigned so staff get time on snow.
