Purpose
Purpose
The Central Middle School Honor Society (CMSHS) is a club for middle school students who show leadership, good character, responsibility, and do well in school. To be invited, you usually need good grades, but it’s not just about academics—you also need to show that you help others, follow the rules, and set a good example for your classmates.
Once you’re in, you might do things like service projects, helping the community, tutoring other students, or organizing school events. It’s a way to recognize students who are role models and give them opportunities to grow as leaders.

NJHS students and their peers volunteer in their communities at the highest rates and make connecting with and serving within the community a priority.
Who Can Join
Who Can Join
Central Middle School Honor Society students are selected at the end of their 7th grade year. Students may qualify with a grade point average of 3.675 or higher, and have zero discipline referrals. Additionally, they must complete an application once they have met these requirements. The final selection will be made by the faculty advisory council members for induction.
