Children are a critical part of our ministry. We invest in programs that capture your child’s attention, keep them engaged, and equip them for life. We focus mainly on God’s love for them and help them to learn and understand Scripture so they will have a better understanding of God’s character.
WEEKLY PROGRAMS
Children's Sunday School:
Classes are held at the church from 9:15 a.m. to 10:15 a.m.
Nursery, Preschool & Kindergarten meet in the Fellowship Hall classrooms
1st-5th grade meet in the balcony level north classroom
K-Motion: Sunday morning Children's Worship begins at 10:45 a.m. with family worship in the main sanctuary. Kids, kindergarten-5th grade, are dismissed after worship and prayer in order to join our student ministry pastor or volunteers for K-Motion.
Kids' Wednesday Night Teaching:
Wednesdays from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. (K-5th grade) Dinner is served at 5:30 p.m.
Nursery:
Nursery care is provided during the Sunday School and Worship hours. Little ones are held, loved, and taken care of so Mom and Dad can spend time in worship. Should a child need attention, the Nursery attendants use a silent paging system to page parents.
Vacation Bible School:
Vacation Bible School: Each August, the church becomes an adventurous playground as children, preschool-8th grade, enjoy drama, games, snacks and crafts all while learning about God. Children are encouraged to memorize Scripture and focus on fun!
Community Fun Nights:
Children are invited to join CPCC for a movie, games, crafts and overall FUN!!!!
Camp:
Boys and girls in 4th & 5th grade spend three fun-filled interactive days off-site worshipping, fellowshipping, playing games and making crafts.
