The Twin Valleys Lutheran Parish (TVLP) is comprised of four areas where our churches collaborate. We call these areas “tables”. The four “tables” are: Homelessness and Poverty Outreach, Youth and Young Adult Ministries, LatinX Ministries, and working on the sustainability of our congregations. The leaders of each table meets regularly over zoom.

Join the Homelessness and Poverty Table!
Goal of the Homelessness and Poverty Table:
Work together as the churches of the Parish to care for those who are unhoused and/or impoverished. The group cross-promotes ministries already happening through our churches, as well as works together to increase our impact in the community.
The Homelessness and Poverty Table meets on Zoom as needed.

Interested in reaching out to the Spanish speaking population in the community around your church?
Join the LatinX Ministries Table!
Goal of the LatinX Ministries Table:
Reach out to our Spanish speaking neighbors in a way that is meaningful to them. We have funding through a grant to hire a few key leaders with experience in walking the streets and starting LatinX in-home ministries.
The LatinX MInistries Table is new and will meet on Zoom as we get closer to the Fall. This Table will grow and change as the ministry starts in Fall 2023.

Interested in creating programs for youth and young adults that deepen their faith and create an intentional community for the young people in our churches?
Join the Youth and Young Adult Table!
Goal of the Youth and Young Adult Table:
Work together as churches to create events and programs for young people that help them bring a sense of pride into their church communities, and deepen their own faith lives.
The Youth and Young Adult Table meets on Zoom monthly. The Table has started meeting, and is looking toward the future as we put together a proposal for a Parish Youth Director.

Goal of the Sustainability Table:
With the arrival of our Bishop Brenda Bos, the Sustainability table has made "Vitality visits" to all of the congregations in the conference to assess where each is at post-pandemic, promote and reset the Parish vision, and most importantly offer honest feedback and appropriate support to each congregation going forward
The Sustainability Table meets on Zoom as needed. The Table has already been busy at work with visiting congregations since the start of the Parish, but there is still a lot of work to be done.
