Toy Story Conflict Resolution

Conflict resolution is a crucial skill to have at any age! For a short lesson with your student(s), have your student watch this short clip of Woody and his friends entering into a conflict.

After watching this clip, ask your student what conflicts they saw arise.

Show your student the conflict resolution tips paper and review each tip and how it could relate to them.

Have your student rewatch the Toy Story clip and ask them to answer the questions of "If I were Woody, I would..., If I were Buzz I would..., If I were Woody's friends I would..." and ask your student how they would resolve the conflict in each of these roles. Be sure to use the conflict resolution tips as they're answering these questions!

This lesson poses great talking points in asking your child of any conflicts they may be experiencing or witnessing at school and how they feel they can resolve these problems with your help and support!
