YA Permission Form
When in doubt, visit the library!
Dear Parent or Guardian,
The Middle School and High School have a shared library. Some books have been labeled YA because of content and/or language. The library books are labeled YA if they are considered to have content or language that is inappropriate for middle school, primarily 6th graders.
As 8th grade students are more mature and bordering on high school, I have been asked to find a way for the students to check out these books. Therefore, students in 8th grade can obtain parental permission to obtain books with a high school label. By completing the Google Form, your child will have permission to check out the YA books. This option is only available to 8th grade students. You may request a paper copy by emailing sally.miller@centrallocal.org or your child can request a paper copy in the library.
