Points to remember:

• The colored tiles across the top are the website navigation.

• Update your account information. Information you enter will help populate the channels on your home page.

• Rearrange your home page as you want

• Clicking the world on any page brings you here.

• Use the waffle to access all DE tools.

• Search bar in the upper right-hand corner.

USING THE HOME PAGE

Most teachers refer to Discovery Education as great resource to find science videos. While this is true, DE has so much more to offer.

In the Streaming section of your DE account you will find:

• High-quality, downloadable images

• Texts

• Audio files

• Interactive lessons

• Lesson materials (quizzes, assignments, content collections)

All of these can be searched by topic, BUT they can also be accessed by searching the TEKS being taught--most contents/most grade levels (not just science!!).

Points to Remember:

• When browsing by standard, select the correct version of TEKS.

• Use the Quick List to "save" resources

• Create folders for advanced organization in "Add to My Content"
