Counseling
Central Community High School has two school counselors on staff. Mrs. Jones works with Freshman and Sophomore students. Miss Lohman works with all Juniors and Seniors. Both counselors are available to counsel students who are having a difficult time with something affecting their lives in addition to college and career counseling. Central also has a School Social Worker, Mrs. Koerkenmeier, that can work with students on a need basis. Counselors may refer students to outside counselors depending on the situation for more in depth and long-term therapy. Students who need assistance can go to the office and ask to see the counselor.
