Reaching out
This is a mixed media drawling which is done with graphite and color pencil. I got the idea from a rainy day waring my yellow. I was going thought a dark time when I made this. I just kinda was drawling things to take my mmid off of things. At first I was just drawling things I thought looked good, but now I realize there is a deeper meaning to it. I interpret it as reaching out to things or people to protect you in hard times. That is art to me really, its always been there to help me feel better when I'm sad or scared.
Rem
This is a color pencil self portrait of my bird and I. It's not my favorite thing I have done this year. This was also most a practice thing because I have never tried realism before really. There is a lot of things I would change like the right eye and the forehead shape. I will just take this as a leaning experience and try no to look at it. The one thing i did like was my bird though.
