"Cup" 3x6x5," 2020

Earthenware Clay and Glass

I made this cup with pinch hand building methods. I glazed this blue and someone else put the word "poo" on the side, just for fun. If I were to start over I would definitely add more glaze to make it more even. I really like how the glaze on the inside bottom looks with the mix of pink and blue glaze.

Braeton Podoski "Motorcycle"

I am into motorcycles. I recently bought a motorcycle and I thought it would be neat to make one. I first started by making the wheels. Then I started making the frame of the bike. Then I made the body parts and started putting the bike together. There is really no meaning. I basically just made a motorcycle. When people look at this I hope that it maybe gets them thinking about motorcycle. Honestly I struggled with making the frame. As I was making it it just kept wanting to break. I would just keep adding clay to strengthen it up more. Also I would let the bike dry a bit. If I made this again I would make the bike bigger. The style is realistic. It is unique because the frame could be made in so many different ways and it just depends on how you want to make it. I love how much detail I put into the bike.

I made this ceramic motorcycle and thought I wanted to use it for the video. I tried to make a biker guy, and spent a long time sculpting him in detail. The background was an oil pastel drawing. Wrage added the sounds and did the video editing.
