Biography:

  • This will be Coach Miers's 7th season as the Wildcat football coach. Previously, Coach Miers coached at Solon and Cedar Rapids Kennedy. He is a 4th grade teacher. He lives in Cedar Rapids with his wife and son.

  • Coach Kerscher has coached with Central City for the past 10 years. He was an outstanding Central City athlete, still holding track records. He lives in Central City with his wife and son.

  • Coach Ferguson joins the staff this season after coaching many years at Solon.

  • Coach Nowadsky joins our staff this season. He and his wife live near Central City. They have three kids.

  • Coach Ratliff began coaching high school football at Central City in 2015. Previously he was a junior high coach football coach. Coach Ratliff also coached girls basketball. He is a PE teacher and he lives near Central City with his wife, daughter, and son.

  • Coach Byers coaches multiple sports in Central City and is a third grade teacher.. He lives in Central City.
