Mission & Vision

AP Peer Mentoring provides connection, support, and resources for underrepresented students entering the AP community. Through this support, we seek to increase AP student success and belonging at CHS.

Student to student AP support:

Helps remove barriers, making AP classes more accessible to students of all backgrounds
Provides the support needed to be successful in AP classes
Builds a peer network that helps to alleviate academic AND emotional stress that can come with being in advanced courses

Meet the Mentors

AP mentors are current juniors and seniors who volunteered to connect AP students with resources and peer support. Mentors indicated that they wanted to help on the annual EOS Student Survey and were also nominated by AP teachers.
