Hello! My name is María, and I’m a Senior. I’m part of the Welcome Centerville Club, French Club, and Korean Club. In my free time, I love to read, listen to music, and watch series. I have taken APUSH, AP Lit and AP Chem and am currently taking Ap Physics 1, AP French, and AP Pre-calc.
For me, becoming an AP mentor is such a gratifying thing in my life. Looking back, I never thought I would have an opportunity like this one. Taking AP classes is definitely a challenge, but I hope I can make it less stressful for those who need help. I want to make sure students know that we're here to help them. I’m so excited for this year, and I hope I’m able to support those who need it.
Hello, my name is Nolan DiFIlippo, and I am currently a senior at Centerville High School. I've taken APUSH, AP Seminar, AP Statistics, AP Lang, and AP Government. This year, I am taking AP Calc, AP Spanish, AP Micro, and AP Macroeconomics.
In my free time, I enjoy hiking, running, biking, spending time outside, and hanging out with friends. I am currently on the Cross Country team.
I joined AP mentors to reciprocate the support that I received from my peers to help me tackle the difficulty of APs. My goal as an AP mentor is to ensure that everyone can face the beneficial challenges that APs pose without being overwhelmed and stressed. I want to give students the skills that will not only help them excel in their APs but also help them use those skills in the future beyond high school.

I love eating and sleeping and occasionally enjoy reading and writing calligraphy. I currently participate in Varsity Tennis, HOSA, Science Olympiad, Science Bowl, Ocean Bowl, United Sound, and Alternative Strings.
As a student, I’m familiar with the struggle of balancing AP classes with activities and responsibilities in and out of school. AP classes can seem scary at first, but I have confidence that any hopeful AP student can get through their courses with proper support. Ultimately, my goal as an AP Mentor is to motivate students to get through challenging coursework. I look forward to working with you!

In my free time, I enjoy running, watching Formula 1 Racing, and gardening. I am a part of Octagon Club, UNICEF Club, Operation Smile, Student Council, Centerville Board of Education Student Representatives, CHS CARE Team, and on the school track team!
As someone who loves learning, my main goal as an AP mentor is to help provide as much guidance to any student currently struggling in AP courses. I believe that anyone and everyone should partake in Advanced Placement courses if given the opportunity, so as a mentor, I would not only help those who need it but also encourage them to keep going along the course!
Hi! My name is Aryan and I am a senior here at CHS. I participate in CHS's Philharmonic Orchestra, Science Olympiad, Coding Club, and Tennis. I also work as a math instructor at Mathnasium. In my free time, I enjoy solving cryptograms, playing cello, and hanging out with my friends.
In the past, I have taken AP Calculus BC, Chemistry, Physics 1, Seminar, US History, and Computer Science Principles, AP Physics C, Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Statistics, US Government and Politics, and English Literature and Composition. I'm an AP mentor because I want to help smooth out the AP process. I've seen first-hand the value these classes provide, whether it be through college credit or student growth. I'm looking forward to providing some guidance on how to navigate the difficulties that often arise during AP classes.

In terms of AP classes, I've taken AP Chemistry, AP Env. Science, APUSH, AP Biology, AP Calculus, AP Physics I, AP Lit, and AP Government. I am currently taking AP Physics C, AP Stats, AP Computer Science, and AP Spanish.
I love the academic rigor that AP classes offer, although I know it's sometimes difficult to appreciate it at the moment. As an AP Mentor, I look forward to helping others learn about study tools, content, and time management skills, as well as creating a welcoming environment for new AP students.

Outside of school, I participate in Science Olympiad, Science Bowl, Penguin Bowl, French Club, and Model UN. I spend my free time listening to music and reading.
My goal as an AP mentor is to make sure that every current and hopeful AP student knows that they can succeed in AP classes and that they have the knowledge and support they need to do well on the AP exams. I believe that AP mentors are the perfect pathway to doing that.
