Good Afternoon,
We have just begun our first full week of school. Most of our students have been online with their teachers for their Google Meets/Classroom. I want to remind everyone that a student is considered in attendance if 1) he/she attends the live online meet with the teacher AND 2) the student completes and turns in their daily assignments. Both of these expectations must be completed in order to be considered present in class.
If your child needs a chrome book, or hasn't picked up their supplies, please come to the office and we will get the materials for you. The curriculum has not yet come in, but we will let you know as soon as it does. We will set up another pick up schedule to get those materials out to the students.
Here are some questions and answers that have come up about the lunch program:
Are parents filling out meal applications online or waiting till school resumes on campus? As of right now we are only doing online applications: family.titank12.com. They can pick up paper applications in our nutrition office if they do not have online access.
Are we providing lunch at sites again and if so when does it start and times?Meals are served at all sites (except McClellan) from 11:00am-1:00pm. The child MUST be enrolled as a CJUSD as a student to receive a meal.
If we are providing lunch are students supposed to bring ID and only visit their site to pick up? Letters went out to the parents on Friday that have the students barcode on them. There are instructions for the parents to bring the letters with them so we can scan the barcode and give the student a meal. The student does not need to be present if the parent brings the letter with the barcode. They can pick up at any of the open sites as well as multiple bus stops which you can find on the Food Services Website.
If you have further questions, go to the Food Services Website at: http://www.schoolnutritionandfitness.com/index.php?sid=0107101904420625
We're looking forward to a successful year.
Stay safe and healthy.
