The Roughrider Band Program serves over 500 students at Center ISD with more than 300 students participating in the Center Middle School Bands and over 230 in the Center High School Band.  The Center Band Program offers a variety of ensembles and organizations in which our students can participate and thrive, including the Roughrider Marching Band, Twirling Line, Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, Concert Band, Jazz Band, Various Ensembles (Woodwind and Brass) as well as Solo Performance opportunities.  Members perform throughout the year in a variety of settings, including football games, marching contests, stage concerts, and community performances. In addition, the Middle School Advance Band performs annually for the Elementary and Primary Campuses during the Winter and Spring seasons. 

Our ensembles on both campuses have been recognized consistently for their outstanding effort and abilities. The Roughrider Marching Band has earned 15 consecutive Superior Ratings at UIL Region Marching Contests with annual appearances at the UIL State Military Marching Contest in Baylor University's McLane Stadium. The High School Band also travels to perform at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida every other year.  Additionally, the members of our ensembles have been recognized as some of the best and brightest students in their academic and personal efforts as they effectively participate in various organizations outside of Band, such as all Sports, Cheer, Dance, FFA, Theatre, and many other clubs and organizations.
