Welcome to The Pride of Shelby County - Roughrider Band!
The Center High School Band consists of over 230 members 9th-12th Grade and boasts an impressive enrollment rate of over 30% of the 4A High School's Student Body. Members of the program have a variety of ensemble opportunities throughout each year as they participate with the Roughrider Marching Band, Twirling Line, Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, Concert Band, Jazz Band, Various Ensembles (Woodwind and Brass) as well as Solo Performance opportunities through both UIL and ATSSB Auditions.
Per UIL and Center ISD, every member participating in high school marching band must have the following documentation on file and updated as necessary. UIL requires students to maintain an updated Medical History Form each year and to see a physician for an updated Physical Form every two years. Additionally, students will need a Travel Form, Medical Emergency Form, Consent for Drug Testing, and the UIL 8 Hour Limitation Rule Forms.
Forms must be returned completed by the first day of school.
