We are CHS SWAT (Students Who Advocate Technology), a group of student leaders dedicated to serving students and teachers. We're trained in technology, technology integration, customer service, mentoring & empowering teachers and students with life-long technology knowledge and digital citizenship skills. We have presented at the Texas Computer Education Association Conference (TCEA), Celina opportUNITY Conference, Region 10 Conference, DigCit Conference, ISTE DigCit 2020 and have participated in numerous podcasts and global connections with students and educators.
Mrs. Poncio, M.S. Learning Technologies, has taught in CISD for 20 years. She has been named as a finalist as Texas Instructional Technology Specialist of the Year finalist in 2018 and has presented all over the country about a movement she calls #studentsCANlead. She is a Google Certified Trainer, Flipgrid, Wakelet and Buncee Ambassador who truly believes that students can lead when given the opportunity!
