CEI arts educators will facilitate hands-on workshops to teach highly differentiated arts-integrated music and visual art projects that directly teach literacy. These projects serve a wide range of student learning levels — from students with cognitive challenges with nmodified standards to students performing on grade level with emotional challenges.
Each day of the conference, teachers will learn one music project and one visual art project that address the same academic skills and standards. Participants will have access to Meridian's easy-to-implement curriculum, which includes six curricular versions of every project to address the wide range of abilities of students.
CTLE credit will be available for New York State teachers
