At the four campuses of Anna University (CEG, MIT, ACTech and SAP), students learn much from their peers as they do from their professors. Traditionally, the best practices have been shared among the students in an ad-hoc fashion from batch to batch. This tribal knowledge is lost when a batch graduates without passing it on and the chain of transfer is broken. Guindy Online Live Database (GOLD) is an attempt to address this problem by creating an online space for sharing such a knowledge base. It is envisioned to be crowdsourced from the alumni to share their experiences and knowledge with the current students. We invite alumni to participate and contribute generously!

The knowledge base is envisioned to be free for viewing by anyone in the world. Hence, it is shared under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International license (CC BY 4.0). To request edit access to a document you want to contribute to, open the document on a computer, click the down arrow on the “View only” button at the top left, and click “Request edit access” (as described here). Please include your name, college (CEG, MIT, ACTech or SAP), branch, year of graduation and a link to your LinkedIn profile with your request.
