NHD Checklist

As we work through the NHD project you and/or your group are responsible for staying on pace. This document will allow all students to stay up to date on their semester final assessment project.  These dates are subject to change due to lab availability, class schedule and/ or teacher prerogative.

__________    Compilation and Completion of SOURCE Information (October 25th)                (10 points)

Complete source information following the model provided.

·         Minimum 5 primary sources required

·         Minimum 5 secondary sources required 

_________    Develop A Working Thesis Statement (Start - November 4th)                                                 (10 points)

·         Addresses the specific topic, expresses an opinion, and evaluates the significance


__________    2nd Set -Compilation and Completion of SOURCE Information (Due "O" Tuesday 14th & "B" Wednesday 15th)                (10 points)

Complete source information following the model provided.

·         Minimum 5 primary sources required

__________   Project Development Check/Update (November 16th - 21st)                               (10 points)

·         Provide significant evidence of your progress.

     ENSURE YOUR PROJECT ADHERES TO THE CATEGORY SPECIFIC RULES.

__________    Construction Check/Update (December 19th - 22nd)                                               (10 points)

·         Provide significant evidence of your continued progress, showing your

 teacher where you were and how far you have come in the building and

development of your project.

__________   Process Paper (Due w/ completed project) 

·        Introduce your topic, explains how you developed your entry, and documents your research.

·         Include three parts: the title page, a process paper, and the annotated bibliography.

·         Page 10-11 in your student guide will provide you vital information.

__________   Final Completed Project due Monday,  January 8th
