IAFF Local 4953

Full-time firefighters at Cedar Area Fire and Rescue (CAFR) are organized within the International Association of Firefighters (IAFF) Local 4953, which was founded on August 12th, 2013. The local negotiates the conditions of full-time employment at CAFR and represents all full-time firefighters. IAFF Local 4953 and the Fire Department Board are committed to maintaining harmonious and cooperative relations in the best interests of the department, its employees, and the community that we serve.
