Steve Swinburne lives in Vermont and is an award-winning children's book author of over 30 titles. Fresh from travels with sea turtles, wolves and manatees, his extensive travels influence his book projects. Houghton Mifflin Harcourt published Sea Turtle Scientist in 2014. Scholastic published his most recent title Safe in a Storm, a comforting read-aloud story, where all the animals find cozy places to keep them safe and warm. Steve visits nearly a hundred schools a year, many in Connecticut.
