Meet the Featured Speakers
Steven W. Anderson is a Dad, Learning Evangelist, Speaker and Author. After a successful career in public education as a Teacher, Instructional Technologist, and Director of Instructional Technology, Steven works with educators across the globe as a consultant.
Shaelynn Farnsworth is a leader in the convergence between literacy and technology. As a high school teacher, she redefined her classroom using contemporary modes to amplify student voice and connect them with a global audience.
A pioneer in the field of educational social networking, Steve Dembo was among the first to realize the power of blogging, podcasting, Twitter, and other Web 2.0 technologies in connecting educators and creating professional learning communities.
Leslie Preddy has been the school librarian at Perry Meridian Middle School in Indianapolis, Indiana since 1992. She is a past recipient of AASL's Collaborative School Library Media Award and School Library Media Program of the Year.
Liz Garden is the principal of the Dr. Leroy E, Mayo Elementary School in Holden, MA. Liz has presented about her love of literacy at the MA Reading Association Conference, Literacy for All Conference, the MSAA Summer Institute, and the NAESP Conference.
