Ground Water Measuring Instruments
Ground Water Measuring Instruments
Terrameter LS:
ABEM Terrameter LS is a state-of-the-art data acquisition system for self potential (SP), resistivity (RES) and time-domain induced polarization (IP). The instrument is delivered with everything that is needed for multi-electrode geoelectrical imaging except electrode cables and electrodes.
Typical application are Geological mapping, Geotechnical pre-investigation, Ground water prospecting, Mineral exploration, Mapping and monitoring of contamination, Geothermal prospecting, sub-bottom mapping of marine environment etc.
The built-in GPS automatically logs the instrument position during data acquisition; provided there is adequate GPS signal reception.
Terrameter LS is fully compatible with existing parts of the ABEM Lund Imaging System like electrode cables, cable joints, cable jumpers, electrodes and electrode selectors for expansion
Borehole video camera:
Underwater camera video systems for viewing water wells, tanks, shafts, caissons, and vertical and horizontal boreholes
Finding ground water pollution and ground water contamination inflows into wells
Inspection camera systems for geophysical exploration, geophysical logging, and water well inspection
Durable - Portable - Versatile - Cost Effective
It has three independently controlled banks of high intensity LED lights and ability to rotate more than 3600 .
The Dual scan camera has standard NTSC Resolution with an aspect ratio of 4:3.
Water level indicator:
It is used to check the water level in open wells and in bore wells.
Water level indicator is available in 90-meter cable length and brass electrode is field replaceable.
It provides reel-type spool that helps in lowering cable and electrode assembly.
Accurate reading, corrosion resistance electrode.
Bladder pump:
A bladder pump is a non-contact, positive displacement, pneumatically operated pump that uses compressed air. It consists of a housing that encloses a flexible bladder made of PTFE or polyethylene. A screen is attached below the bladder to filter out any material that may interfere with check valves. Bladder pumps are operated by air compressors, compressed air or compressed nitrogen tanks.
The Solinst Bladder Pump allows consistent, high quality samples in all types of applications.
It offers excellent performance and reliability.
Peristaltic pump:
Peristaltic Pump is ideally suited for groundwater and vapor sampling from shallow wells or surface water.
It Is Compact, lightweight and water resistant, it has excellent field durability. Robust metal case makes it easy to maintain and repair.
One easy-access control enables reversible flow and various speeds, allowing high or low-flow sampling.
Simply connect to a 12 Volt power source to operate.
Packers:
Pneumatic Packers are used to isolate a discrete zone in a well or borehole to prevent the mixing of soil gas or groundwater at that particular depth. Subsurface investigations are then focused on the isolated zone only.
At the desired depths, Packers are inflated to seal off the discrete zone. This can be done using a single Packer, to monitor the zone above or below it, or a straddle Packer set up to create an isolated section between two Packers.
The ABEM Terrameter Log 300 allows the full transmitter and receiver capabilities of the host instrument (SAS or LS) to be applied at depth from within the borehole through a combination of electrodes on the logging sonde and lead cable.
It is used for recording resistivity, IP, SP and temperature.
This might be to help identify thin layers or improve the quality of inversion results by providing a sample of true resistivity values to the software.
Commonly it is used for groundwater studies to help better define the geological formations and assess water quality by estimating the TDS (total dissolved solids).
