Conditions of the Ghettos

The conditions of these ghettos were horrible. Usually, the people in the ghettos would only get about 200 calories of food each day, usually from just a small piece of bread.

Some Ghettos had underground school systems. The schools were not very good quality but they helped provide a small education of the Jewish children. The Germans closed all ghettos schools in 1942, leading the schools to be underground and harder to be noticed.
