Ghettos

Ghettos

During the Holocaust, there were places called ghettos where the Jews were taken until the Nazis transported them to concentration camps or death camps. The Nazis used the ghettos to hold their enemies, which was mostly Jews but also some Romanies. Ghettos were very unsanitary and overcrowded places where people would easily catch diseases. Lots of people that were there, would suffer from starvation, diseases, the cold from the winter, and many other reasons too.
