Last Swim Meet for Grade 12s
SEASAC Swimming 2025 took place at NIST Bangkok from February 27 - March 1.
CDNIS brought a team of 15 swimmers to compete against 16 other schools from the SEASAC Conference.
Swimming is one of the most demanding sports, our team prepared very well, training up to 6 times per week in the lead up to this event. This commitment paid off over the 3 day swim meet with everyone achieving at least 1 personal best time, our swimmers qualified for multiple finals and we also had a high number of top 5 finishers.
A highlight was Ethan's performance throughout the event, he was competing in his last SEASAC and won 4 Silver medals 🥈🥈🥈🥈 in the 400m Free, 400m IM, 800m Free and 200m Back.
Jasper also had super swims in the long distance events with two 4th place finishes. Jasper has one more SEASAC and will be aiming to move up to podium finishes in his final year.
Lydia was our other medal winner who came third in the 100m Butterfly 🥉 and 4th in the 200m Butterfly.
