St Patrick School

St Patrick’s School is located in South Invercargill and is a state integrated Catholic school catering for Year 0 – 6 children, with approximately 300 pupils. The school was opened on 12 March 1944 by the Dominican Sisters.

St Theresa School

Saint Theresa’s School was opened 1st February 1931 by the Bishop of Dunedin, Bishop James Whyte. The school contained two rooms separated by a folding door, which meant that it could be used as the church on Sundays. Saint Theresa’s has roll of approximately 300 students from New Entrants to Year 6.

Sacred Heart School

Sacred Heart School is an integrated Catholic Primary School for pupils from Year 0 to Year 6, offering education with a Special Character. The school was established in 1962 and was initially staffed by Sisters of Mercy. Though all staff are lay teachers, the school has a close association with the Sisters whom live next to the school.

Verdon College

Verdon College was established in 1982 through the 1981 amalgamation of St Catherine's College and Marist College. The new combined Catholic high school was named after Bishop Verdon.
