At Cornerstone we are led be a team of 3 Elders who are responsible for the Vision and Spiritual Direction of the Church. They work alongside a wider leadership team who run many of the ministries within the Church.

Richard Santos is one of the three senior Elders of Cornerstone Discipleship Church in Taunton and is married to Lyn who helps lead the Sunday School. Richard and Lyn have a daughter Shelley and who attends a local College.

Richard and Lyn were active in their previous churches in different roles before joining Cornerstone Discipleship Church.

Richard also work full time in the health sector and serves in the Church as Treasurer and one of the Worship Leaders.

Dave Shackleton is one of three senior elders of Cornerstone Discipleship Church in Taunton and is the husband of Milette who helps lead the Sunday School. They have two little girls together who love ballet and taekwondo.

Both Dave and Milette have served in various roles in different Churches over the years leading young people’s services from night clubs and serving as trustees for his former church. They have a passion for serving the local community as well as overseas mission, where they lead a ministry in the Philippines providing education and medical supplies for those in need. They are passionate about sharing the Gospel and are in the process of building a Church in Milette’s home province in the Philippines.

Alongside serving at Cornerstone Dave works fulltime in the NHS as a Specialist Cancer Nurse and is a keen photographer. 

Romualdo Don Sapigao is one of the three senior Elders of Cornerstone Discipleship Church and is married to Angie who leads the women’s ministry. Don and Angie have a son David who attends College locally.

Don previously served as a Church elder for many years with the help from his wife Angie and son David before joining the Cornerstone Discipleship Church in Taunton.

Don works within the local Council and serves is in the Church through preaching and leading the one-to-one Discipleship ministry.
