Wind Ensemble is the premier auditioned band at Lake City High School, typically featuring only one player per part. This advanced ensemble challenges students with high-level literature and demands excellence in musicianship, technical skill, and dedication. Members of Wind Ensemble perform at concerts, festivals, football games, community events, and parades, and can also join the pep band for basketball season. Auditions are held annually in the spring, and students are expected to maintain a high standard of performance and commitment.
