Willow Mueller "Baseline Drawing"

This was my first drawing i turned in, i chose to do a deer because they represent grace and gentleness and i thought it would look beautiful. First i looked up some reference photos on Pintrest and i kind of just started outlining it and added details in slowly trying make sure i did everything perfectly. It took me a few days as i worked on it at home and at school.

This drawing is of me and my Grandpa at the "Daddy and Daughter Dance" in 2016. I chose this because i knew it would mean lot to my grandpa if i drew this and i wanted to give it to him for Christmas. First i started going off of the grid outlining everything making sure to keep it proportional with the grid once that was done i started shading and adding detail which took the longest. Once i completed the drawing i erased the grid along with parts that didn't look right. It took about 2 months but that's okay because i really like the outcome of this, i think it looks realistic and almost identical to the real picture.
