Willow Mueller "Baseline Drawing"

This was my first drawing I turned in, I chose to do a deer because they represent grace and gentleness and I thought it would look beautiful. First I looked up some reference photos on Pintrest and I kind of just started outlining it and added details in slowly trying make sure I did everything perfectly. It took me a few days as I worked on it at home and at school.

This drawing is of me and my Grandpa at the "Daddy and Daughter Dance" in 2016. I chose this because I knew it would mean lot to my grandpa if I drew this and I wanted to give it to him for Christmas. First I started going off of the grid outlining everything making sure to keep it proportional with the grid once that was done I started shading and adding detail which took the longest. Once I completed the drawing I erased the grid along with parts that didn't look right. It took about 2 months but that's okay because i really like the outcome of this, I think it looks realistic and almost identical to the real picture.
