drawing project baseline 

I recreated a scratch art picture of my cat, Asher, to see how much my art skills have improved over time, its really hard to recate it because you dont have the outline and the skills to make sure its good but when I first made the original piece, I focused mostly on the outline and basic details, but this time  i didnt because i wanted it tp look different,  Comparing the two artworks looks way different because there way new/bad  progress    Recreating the same picture showed me how much more confident I have become as an artist and how my techniques have improved through practice and it doeast matter if they dont look the smae or if there different . The project was meaningful because Asher is important to me, and drawing my cat made the artwork feel personal. It was rewarding to see how much I have grown artistically while creating something connected to a pet I care about.
