Nick hoffman has always been the race car drive ive looken up to. I grew up watching nick and have been blessed to become friends with him. I got the idea to draw his racecar because i wanted to draw something my childhood grew up on.
I had decided to use a piece of scratch paper and multiple different scratching pens to scratch the black film off. i had also traced everything on transfer paper beforehand.
I want viewers to realise the impact only one person can have on somebody and their life as it can change it drasticly
The most difficult part about this artwork was having enough paitence for the scratch pens as sometimes they wouldnt work how i anticipated and had to overcome those challanges
This is another artwork i base off of my childhood because me and my dad would always go fishing, i started going fishing with dad since i was 3. We would always take his boat out on the river and stay out there for hours on end each weekend. This picture was taken in recent years so it brings the past into the present and the present into the past.
The main materials i used for this was colored pencils, Oil pastel, Fine tip markers, and Coloring markers.
This artwork shows that you can hold on to lots of memorys from your childhood you just have to cherish them. you cant take what you have for granted before its to late.
My biggest strugle was detail and accuracy. The grid was messed up from the beginning which had messed the initial sketch up witch eventually messed with the end result.
Miles Doherty: race car
This artwork resembles what my life looks like outside of school and work. I have been racing since i was 5 and am now 16. You dont realize how fast time moves until you look back at it all.
I had ended up using paper and a pencil to draw this artwork
